Haiti is the nation most at risk from climate change

According to a new global survey from the U.K. risk analysis firm Maplecroft, Haiti is the nation most at risk from rising sea levels, floods and other impacts of climate change. Latest tropical storm heads for Haiti, Dominican Rep

The latest named storm of the 2011 Atlantic season has formed in the Caribbean Sea near the island of Dominica. Haiti death toll rises to 23 due to heavy rains

Haiti Flood UPDATES- 23 killed, 6 missing in floods, mudslides in Haiti

Haiti Flood UPDATES At least 23 people were killed and more than a dozen injured, said Edgar Joseph, a spokesman for Haiti’s Civil Protection Department. Most of the deaths were in Port-au-Prince and they included two who died over the weekend, he said. Dominican Republic floods – 8,000 people evacuated
